Activities
- -Early Intervention/ Portage: guiding and
supporting families and children with developmental delays, home training for
children up to 6 years of age. 90’ weekly sessions at the home environment when
possible. Guardians should be present so they can see exactly how to work with
their children. When possible there should be collaboration with the school
environment and also other specialties that happen to work with the child.
Siblings may participate. Groups of 2-3 children may also work together. Skype
therapy sessions are also an option.
- -Special Education of children with behavior
issues.
- -Computer skills for children and early math
skills for children that face difficulties in school.

Athens. Organized by the Greek Association of Drama Therapists and Play Therapists,
supervised by the Institute of Drama Therapy in London and Dr. Sue Jennings (1988-1990).
- -Master of Education. M.Ed. Special
Education McGill University (1983-1985). During my internship in Canada, I
worked under supervision, was part of a multidisciplinary team, participated in
case conferences, diagnosis, selection, implementation and evaluation of
programs, in hospitals, day clinics and schools with children diagnosed as
having severe emotional and behavior disorders. I coordinated an
improvisational drama and expressive movement group.
- -Bachelor of Arts (B.A Psychology) Deree
College (1979-1983). Internship at the Center of Mental Health. Athens, Day
Care Unit, as an assistant special educator. I worked together with a special educator
in a class of 4-6 year old autistic children. I collaborated in two research studies
one on creativity and its relation to the elementary school curriculum and one
on preventing and/or diagnosing learning difficulties in preschoolers.
